KIRKO BANGZ CATCHES FEELINGS FOR NOT BEING ON BEYONCE’S “BOW DOWN/I BEEN ON (REMIX)”
Its was no secret that Beyonce’s recent hit, “Bow Down/I Been On” was going to receive a remix treatment including an all-texas cast. While many had speculations on who would actually make the remix, when the official remix dropped, many honorable mentions did not make the cut. While it wasn’t a surprise that some Texas artists would feel uneasy about being overlooked for the remix. One of the state’s biggest recording artist out right now, Kirko Bangz was the first to voice his opinion on being left out of the Hit-Boy produced tribute. During his promo interview with Chicago radio personalities at 107.5 WGCI. When asked about his feeling on being left out of the remix involving other Texas kings such as: Scarface, Bun B, Lil Keke, Willie-D, Slim Thug, and Z-Ro. Bangz simply commented on the matter stating, “That’s Weak.” Bangz is busy promoting his new single, “Stay Trill”. His scheduled debut LP titled, Bigger Than Me is set to drop in 2013. Another accomplishment was fulfilled for Kirko recently as he was announced apart of the class of artists in this year’s annual XXL magazine’s Freshmen eleven. Check out the complete interview below:
