NICE WHIPS: LEXUS RC COUPE

NICE WHIPS: LEXUS RC COUPE
Ahead of this month’s Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus has revealed its RC Coupe: the first two-door from Toyota‘s luxury imprint – other than the high-powered LFA – since the demise of the ill-fated SC. Inspired by the LF-CC and LF-LC concepts, the RC’s exterior features a wide and low-sitting version of Lexus’s signature spindle grille, triangular headlamps with a unique three-lamp LED design, a bright and racy red color scheme and the option of deeply sculpted 10-spoke 19-inch or muscular five-spoke 18-inch wheels in black with platinum center caps. In terms of the interior, the four-seat cabin comes outfitted with contemporary ambient lighting and equipped with a Remote Touch Interface while the driver’s cockpit is divided into operational and display zones with a a seven-inch navigation screen and layered center console. Although full specs have yet to be revealed – you’ll have to wait until the TMS for that – powering the standard RC350 is a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine while the RC300h boasts a 2.5-liter hybrid setup. Enjoy the first glimpses of the stylish RC Coupe and stay tuned for more information following the automobile’s official publish showing at this winter’s Tokyo Motor Show, which kicks off November 23 and runs through December 1. lexus-rc-coupe-4 lexus-rc-coupe-2 lexus-rc-coupe-3
