Sage The Gemini has made a name for himself with two hit singles topping the charts on the Billboard “Hot 100,” and all before he had a record deal. The 21-year-old rapper and producer has over one hundred million YouTube views to his name, which is no small achievement, and songs like “Gas Pedal” and “Red Nose” drove furious bouts of twerking on Vine. kevin-durant-opsq-24687 8. Kevin Durant: The No. 8 man on our list this week goes by many alias Iceberg Slim, KD, The Server, and even Kevin. No matter what name you call him on the court, you will probably be saying it a lot because he gets buckets. Known for his scoring tirades, Kevin Durant has scored 25 or more points for 38 consecutive games. Durant is nearing Michael Jordan’s record for most consecutive games with at least 25 points. Michael Jordan did it for 40 straight games for the Chicago Bulls during the 1986-87 season. mila-kunis-esquire-nov-2012- (4) 7. Mila Kunis: Esquire Magazine 2013 Sexiest Woman in the World lands the No. 7 spot on our countdown this week. Mila Kunis and her fiancée Ashton Kutcher reportedly are going to be parents. Russell Crowe: Sailing the high seas of the No. 5 spot this week is “Noah” star Russell Crowe. Noah is expected to sweep away the opposition at the US box office this weekend, with analysts predicting the biblical epic will take $41m in its opening days. The controversial film, directed by Darren Aronofsky, has already made $22m overseas, having opened in Australia, Korea, Mexico and Russia. In the US, it opens in 3,500 theatres, and is expected to knock the dystopian young adult thriller Divergent off the top spot. The film has been heavily marketed to religious groups by its producers at Paramount. While some groups like the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference have endorsed the movie, others have been less than impressed. 130514153337-mike-trout-op34-96002-single-image-cut 4. Mike Trout: The No. 4 guy on our countdown this week might have to change his nickname from Magic Mike to Big Money Mike. The Millville, N.J., product was a unanimous choice for AL Rookie of the Year in 2012, and he finished second in AL MVP voting to Miguel Cabrera the past two years. Archie Miller: He may not have made it to the Final Four, but he did manage to make it to the No. 3 spot on our countdown this week. Two weeks ago, Dayton head coach Archie Miller lead the No. 11 Flyers to their first appearance into the Sweet since the 80’s. Last week, Archie Miller and his brother Arizona head coach Sean Miller became the first pair of brothers to coach in the same Elite Eight. Eventually Dayton would lose to Florida in the Elite Eight, but even with the loss, Miller has become one of the most sought-after coaches in college basketball. Miller recently signed an extension with Dayton last Monday, which has him under contract through 2018-19. 1boryan032914 2. Bo Ryan: It’s been a very long time coming for the No. 2 man on our countdown this week. This is the 13th consecutive season Ryan has taken Wisconsin to the NCAA Tournament, but the first time he’s been able to string four victories together in March to reach a Final Four. This was only the second time Ryan has taken his team as far as a regional final. Only nine coaches in college basketball history who have won at least 600 games have a better winning percentage than Ryan’s .758. His .703 winning percentage in the Big Ten is the best in conference history. 116984-650-366 1. Miguel Cabrera: The No. 1 spot on our countdown this week goes to sports new No. 1 money-maker. Two-time American League MVP Miguel Cabrera has agreed to terms with the Detroit Tigers on a new 10-year contract that will pay him $292 million. The new deal also includes two additional vesting options worth $30 million apiece for years 11 and 12 that could bring the total of the deal to $352 million. If the new contract is calculated as a single, 10-year entity, it will surpass the 10-year, $275 million deal that Alex Rodriguez signed with the New York Yankees in December 2007, as the largest in Major League Baseball history.
