The holiday season is upon us and that means 2014 is quickly coming to an end. In honor of 2014, Kaboom! Magazine.com is getting together some of our favorite musicians, actors, fashion designers, models, athletes, and entertainment personality for our annual “Year-in-Review” feature. We will be asking some of our favorite celebs their favorite moments of the year and how they are preparing for an explosive 2015. Today, we wrap up 2014 with one of the hottest DJs on the planet Ms. Bella Fiasco. Fiasco takes time out of her very busy schedule to tell us some of her favorite moments from 2014 and also lets us know what we can expect from her in 2015. DJ Bella Fiasco Age: 24 Zodiac Sign: Virgo Current Location: Long Beach, CA Occupation: DJ Twitter: @DJBellaFiasco Instagram: @DJBellaFiasco If you could define 2014 in one hashtag it would be…..? #YearOfTheHashtags If you had to describe 2014 using one celebrity it would be…..? Kanye (Winning) What is the most valuable lesson you learned in 2014? That in order for others to value my work, I have to value my worth first and foremost. It is sad to admit that it is an over saturated and cutthroat industry; you have to look out for yourself before others and stand your ground in order to earn the respect and credit you are deserving of. It is tough, but it is doable if you have the will and determination. What was your biggest achievement of 2014? Being blessed with the opportunity to become an endorser for Bose in a worldwide ad campaign. The entire journey was an experience I’ll never forget. What is something that you wish you did in 2014? Take less shots of Hennessy (Laughs) Funniest thing you saw in 2014? The infamous Donna Goudeau interview, it will never get old! Most Shocking Moment of 2014? Kim Kardashian broke the internet… But let’s be honest, was that really a shock? If you could leave one thing behind in 2014, it would be…..? “Relations” with people who didn’t benefit or support what I do in any way, business / friendship wise. 2015 will require me to be a little more selective with those I choose to work with or be friends with. Best Meal of 2014? This has gotta be the hardest question in this list; how do I answer this? I eat good every day! It is the one thing I take very seriously. Favorite Movie of 2014? The last movie I saw in the theaters this year was Interstellar. It was a great movie, as I expect of any and every Christopher Nolan film. He took the question of existence and a boundless universe to the next level. Who doesn’t love a mind bender… This movie poked my brain in more ways than one, definitely glad I didn’t wait till it came out on DVD to see it. Favorite TV Show of 2014? I’ve been hooked on American Horror Story since the first season. The show’s production exceeds anyone’s expectation of a TV series. Creative and twisted… Kind of like me 😉 Favorite Album of 2014? That’s an easy call! J Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive is the best album to close the year off. That guy is the truth. It is impossible to listen to the album without feeling like you’ve connected with him on a deeper level. That’s how artists are supposed to make you feel, like you are having a conversation nobody else can hear. Not to mention how well thought out the storyline throughout the album was shaped, he walks you through and around his thoughts so well. Only good artists have the power to do that. Nobody else does it like J Cole… Favorite Music Video of 2014? 7/11 by the queen, Yonce. The DIY style video that spread like wildfire all over Instagram and Vine within an hour of its release, featured half of what 2014 looked like: GoPros, twerking, booty, red cups, more booty, and a lot of candid Beyonce moments we can’t get enough of. What’s not to love? Favorite Shoes of 2014? Red bottoms. Favorite Website of 2014? Why? GMAIL.COM, for bookings email me at DJBellaFiasco@gmail.com. (I had to) Favorite Technology of 2014? The GoPros took “home videos” to the next level. I love how creative people are with these things. Favorite Social Media of 2014? Instagram – The app that took social media by a storm and stands as the single most used social platform right now, for anyone and everyone. It is the #InstagramEra, the mother that birthed “selflies.” What are you most looking forward to in 2015? New opportunities and experiences, more growth and progress. I look forward to each and every chance I get to do what I love, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t. I haven’t gotten tired of this, I feel like I’ve just begun. Why should we lookout for you in 2015? I’ve had the same game plan for years… to “be better, go bigger.” That is the key behind my progress, to aim higher than I ever have each day forward. Words of Wisdom heading into 2015? Never get too comfortable. There is no progress in satisfaction, aim higher every day and you will achieve even more than just what you imagined you could. There is no set limit or standard recipe to success- it doesn’t matter how you get there or when you get there, as long as you make it… Like I always tell my friends, “This is your show, run it how you want to and make ’em scream encore just when they think you’re done.” *Checkout more celebrities thoughts on 2014 right now at Who’s Who of 2014
