In 2014, music saw the arrival of new superstars like Rae Shmmurd, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor, Young Thug, and Sia. This year also saw the return of megastars like Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Pharrell. It seemed like almost every week; artists from past and present were coming out with a new music video, easily making them legends overnight. To honor 2014, Kaboom! Magazine has compiled all of our favorite music videos of 2014 and created Kaboom! Magazine.com “100 Most Explosive Videos of 2014!”

59. M.I.C “Clothes Gotta Go” Feat. Jonn Hart
Bay Area Singer/Sex Symbol M.I.C is trying to get all of the girls naked with his video “Clothes Gotta Go” featuring fellow Cali panty-dropper Jonn Hart.
58. Pharrell “Marilyn Monroe”
With Pharrell’s presence in full form, Mr Williams has landed the No. 58 spot with “Marilyn Monroe.” Opening the video atop a magenta hued mountain, the clip captures Pharrell admist a slumber. He then proceeds to make his way through various scenes of dance routines only to later find himself back in his dreamworld fantasy, you’ll also be able to catch a cameo appearance by Kelly Osbourne. “Marilyn Monroe” can be found on his second studio album G I R L which is in stores now or can be purchased via iTunes.
57. Eric Bellinger “I Don’t Want Her” Feat. Problem
Produced by the League of Starz, directed by Riveting Entertainment and BJ Coulter, shot in Los Angeles. Eric and his leading lady rip the runway and party the night away as the hottest people in the room.
56. Usher “Good Kisser”
Every kiss begins with U…..Usher shows up at No. 56 with the catchy dance video “Good Kisser.” The video finds Usher in an abandoned warehouse with a team of dancers, performing an intricate choreography. Produced by Pop, Flip, JProof, Terry “Tru” Sneed, Natural and Oak, the song first impression of his upcoming eighth studio album, which is due in 2015 and will feature the talents of the likes of Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Skrillex, and more.
55. Alicia Keys “It’s On Again” Feat. Kendrick Lamar
Saving the day at No. 55 is Alicia Keys with her superhero-like sound in “It’s On Again.” Depicting a secret like operation the video captures Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar as well as featured appearances from producers Pharrell and Hans Zimmer. Alongside the four collaborators, you’ll also be able to watch some scenes from “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” film.
54. Don Benjamin “Doin It Well” Feat. Elijah Blake
Don Benjamin won his share of female fans on the last season of “America’s Next Top Model.” Now the model-turned-rapper, who’s starred in campaigns for Guess, Moods of Norway, and Pink Dolphin, steals the heart of one special lady in the video for “Doin’ It Well” featuring singer-songwriter Elijah Blake. The LL Cool J-sampled song, produced by Midi Mafia.

Halfway through the countdown, today we show love to West Coast hip-hop king Kendrick Lamar and his solo music video of 2014 entitled “I.” Directed by Alexandre Moors, it opens with the rapper appearing in a dark club before he takes over the streets while leading the crowd in a new kind of dance.
49. Kid Ink “Main Chick (Remix) Feat. Tyga & Chris Brown
Kid Ink is looking for that perfect girl at No. 49 with his video “Main Chick (Remix).” In true money rich fashion, both rappers charter a private jet and throw a private party in it. Main features? A lot of nude models covered in body paint and flirtatious stewardesses.
48. Childish Gambino “Sweatpants” Feat. Problem
Here is Childish Gambino at No. 48 with the video for his Problem-assisted single “Sweatpants,” off of “Because The Internet.” The one-shot video features Donald Glover’s hip-hop alter ego facing twisted perception in a rendezvous with himself.
47. Puff Daddy “Big Homie” Feat. Rick Ross & French Montana
Sean Combs ditched his P. Diddy moniker and brought back Puff Daddy with this “Big Homie.” Stretching from coast-to-coast in the video, the four-minute production takes the rapper through New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Miami, and includes cameo appearances from Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Jermaine Dupri, A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob, Ashanti, DJ Khaled, Wale, Meek Mill, Nelly and more.
46. Big Sean “Ashley”
What a roller coaster 2014 for Big Sean right? Big Sean and Miguel showed a scary side to him in the video interpretation for their collaborative single “Ashley” that took off in 2013 via Big Sean’s second studio album Hall of Fame.
45. Shakira “Can’t Remember to Forget You” Feat. Rihanna
Roc Nation’s leading ladies, Shakira and Rihanna allows us to feast our eyes on their sexy music video, “Can’t Remember To Forget You.” Joseph Kahn directs the video, and we see both of the ladies struggling to keep their hands off of each other in the steamy video.

41. DJ Khaled “Hold You Down” Feat. August Alsina, Jeremih, Chris Brown, & Future
40. Mark Ronson “Uptown Funk” Feat. Bruno Mars
Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars do a throwback clip for the No. 40 video entitled “Uptown Funk,” the first offering off the Ronson forthcoming album “Uptown Special.” The video has only been out since November and has already amassed over 52 million views on youtube.
39. Maroon 5 “Animals”
Maroon 5 comes in at No. 39 with “Animals.” The video shows a creepy side of lead singer Adam Levine as he stalks a beautiful woman all over town….kinda like how a lion stalks his prey.
38. Hozier “Take Me to Church”
The success of Ireland native Andrew Hozier-Byrnes, who performs under the mononym Hozier, happened really fast. It all started in late 2013, when he caught people’s attention with the music video for his breakthrough single “Take Me to Church”. The black-and-white cinematic clip centering on a gay couple who’s subjected to violence was released amid chaos over Russia’s anti-gay legislation and quickly went viral.
37. August Alsina “No Love (Remix)” Feat. Nicki Minaj
The No. 37 spot is a no chill zone courtesy of August Alsina. August gets close with Nicki Minaj in their collaborative video for their “No Love” remix.
36. Jason Derulo “Wiggle” Feat. Snoop Dogg
35. Michael Jackson “Love Never Felt So Good” Feat. Justin Timberlake
Lead by Justin Timberlake, the video makes for a feel-good ensemble as a group of dancers pay homage by happily singing along and performing some of his most iconic dance moves. Worked in between are also some scenes from his time honored videos which include “Bille Jean,” “Beat It” and “Smooth Criminal.”
34. Mila J ‘Smoke, Drink, or Break Up”
Mila J can only do three things with the No. 34 spot….smoke, drink, or break-up. She returned to music in 2014 lead by her hit-single “Smoke, Drink, Break Up.” The dance-heavy video also features buzzing artist Ty Dolla $ign as her love interest, and finds Mila riding around the hood with her girls, and showing off her slick moves in the street.
33. Beyonce “Partition”
At No. 33, sex is on the menu coming in the form of the video to Beyonce song “Partition.” As always, Beyoncé looks stunning throughout the video, and shows it off as only she can.
32. Trey Songz “Na Na”
After taking an absence from music to focus on his acting career, Trey Songz came back home in 2014 with a new album led by video for his hit-single “Na Na.”

30. Justin Timberlake “Not A Bad Thing”
Justin Timberlake took the No. 30 spot and turned it into one of the greatest love songs of all-time with “Not A Bad Thing.” The video follows a camera crew who is in search of a couple that got engaged on a subway. While searching for the couple, the crew also come in contact with various couple who have their own incredible love stories.

27. Sam Smith “Not The Only One”
Sam Smith has unveiled the video narrative for his tale of infidelity and betrayal, “I’m Not The Only One.” The video enlists Glee actor Dianna Agron and The Mindy Project’s Chris Messina to play the parts of the troubled lovers, turning the full audiovisual presentation into more of a cinematic experience.

Clocking in at four full minutes, the video features appearances from both Pusha T and Pharrell, and even a few cameo appearances from Odd Future frontman Tyler, The Creator, Wiz Khalifa, ScHoolboy Q and more.

Ariana Grande comes through the No. 18 spot drama free courtesy of her hit-single “Problem” featuring Iggy Azaela. Directed by Nev Todorovic, the mod-themed clip shows the Nickelodeon star recreating her live performance at the iHeartRadio Music awards in 2014.

No. 15 comes to you with a lot of junk in the trunk. Iggy Azalea teams up with veteran singer and songwriter Jennifer Lopez for J-Lo single “Booty.” Directed by Hype Williams, the video sees the duo clad in revealing swimsuits as they trade verses and show off their well-known assets in a provocative manner.
14. Maroon 5 “ Maps”
Directing themselves to the No. 14 spot, Maroon 5 drives us crazy with their hit video “Maps” The video shows lead singer Adam Levine rushing to the emergency room after getting caught cheating on girlfriend at a party. This leads her to leave while being very emotional causing her to get hit by a very big truck.

Back on the countdown at the No. 11 spot is the man of 2014 Mr. Sam Smith. The Grammy-nominated singer had his biggest of the year in “Stay with Me” and some people have rumored that the song is based on his ex-relationship with Frank Ocean. Sometimes heartache can develop your best work.
10. Adrian Marcel “2AM” Feat. Sage the Gemini
Cracking the top 10 in 2014 is “2AM” from the Bay Area’s Adrian Marcel. With the assistance of Sage the Gemini and Young California DJ Carisma, Marcel enjoys a night of clubbing with his crew filled with bottle poppin and show stopping. If you thought 2014 was good, keep your eye out for Adrian doing big things in 2015.
9. Jessie J “Bang Bang” Feat. Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj
It’s a whole lotta fine coming at No. 9. Jessie J calls up her girlfriends Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj for a one of a kind movement in the hit video “Bang Bang.” Set on a helipad at the top of a New York City skyscraper, the trio link up to provide viewers with the experience of being invited to an “exclusive concert.”

Never taking no for an answer, the reggie pop group Magic! lands the No. 2 spot on our countdown with their samsh-hit “Rude.” Based on a failed marriage proposal courtesy of the girl dad, the group tries everything the sun to get the father blessing to marry the woman that he loves….which never happens. Atleast it got you millions of fans right?
Iggy Azalea “Fancy” Feat. Charli XCX
Ending our countdown at No. 1 is Iggy Azalea with “Fancy.” As some of you might notice, the music video is filmed in the theme of the 90′s movie-turned-television-series Clueless.
