They’ve kept our eyes glued to our TV screens, gave us something to talk about all day on social media, and helped us get through another grueling school or work week. But which celebs had the best week of them all? Today, Kaboom! Magazine.com lets you know who star shined the brightest this past week in “Top 10 People of the Week.” Each week, Kaboom! picks 10 celebs, athletes, entertainers, or regular people who we feel had the best week of them all. This week, our countdown is filled with some of record-setting performers, a few first-timers, and a new No. 1 star in music. roman_mtv 10. Roman Reigns Starting our countdown this week is a man who didn’t have to go through just one man, but an entire movement just to get a shot at living the ultimate dream. Coming in at No. 10 is WWE star and 2015 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns . On Sunday, it took everything in Roman’s body to beat Daniel Bryan and the “Yes” movement at WWE “Fastlane” PPV. The victory earned Reigns a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania 31 against WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in Santa Clara, CA on March 28th. Even with the incredible match he had with Bryan, it’s gonna take that effort and even more than that if Roman Reigns wants to be victorious against “The Breast.” download (1) 9. Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu The highlight of Oscar night comes to us at the No. 9 spot in the form of director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. The director latest film “Birdman” was the film of the year in 2014 and was honored in a big way at the 87th Academy Awards. “Birdman” took home four trophies including Best Picture and Best Director for Alejandro G. Inarritu. At the ceremony, “Birdman” team which consists of Alejandro G. Inarritu, Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris Jr and Armando Bo also won in Best Original Screenplay category. The film also dominated at the 30th annual Independent Spirit Awards one day before the movie’s biggest night at the Academy Awards. The Neighbourhood Entering the countdown this week at the No. 8 spot is the group who is running the music scene right now that you may not know about The Neighbourhood. Last week, The Neighbourhood put out more music videos than anyone on earth releasing three new music videos in one week. Simmons Luck is defiantly on this actor side this week, which is why he is well deserving of the No. 7 spot on our countdown. J.K. Simmons was announced as the first winner at the 87th Oscars, taking home Best Supporting Award for his performance as a ruthless mentor in “Whiplash”. The award marks his first Oscar trophy. Taking the stage, Simmons thanked his family for the support and delivered a sweet message to the audience. “If you’re lucky to have a parent or two alive on this planet, call them. Don’t text. Don’t email. Call them on the phone, tell them you love them and thank them and listen to them for as long as they want to talk to you. Patricia Arquette was honored with Best Supporting Actress trophy for her performance as a single mother in “Boyhood”. Wearing a black-and-white dress, Arquette took the stage to receive the trophy and call for equal pay. “It’s our time to have wage equality once and for all, and equal rights for women in the U.S.A.,” Arquette said. Big Sean Breaking into the top 5 this week is the Detroit playa that’s ready to shock the world with a new album. In preparation for his new album coming this Tuesday, Big Sean spent last week allowing fans to get a taste of what they should expect on his new album “Dark Sky Paradise.” Sean ended the week with an A-List listening party in Los Angeles with everyone in the building from girlfriend Ariana Grande to rap icon Jay Z. common-john-legend-glory-billboard-650 4. John Legend & Common Common and John Legend’s performance was one of the highlights of the 87th Annual Academy Awards. Taking the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday night, February 22, the duo moved some A-listers in the audience to tears as they delivered a powerful rendition of their collaboration “Glory”. Following the performance that ended with standing ovation from the crowd, Common and Legend returned to the stage after “Glory” was announced as the winner in Best Original Song category. Floyd Mayweather Jr. & Manny Pacquiao Finally coming to the No. 3 spot is two men that we have wanted to see in the same place at the same time for almost 7 years. At long last, pound-for-pound greats Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will fight. Yes, the bout that looms as one of the most anticipated in boxing history is finally on. The showdown is a lock to be the richest in boxing history and will, barring a draw, settle the issue that has been debated for years. Mayweather made the announcement on Friday afternoon on a social media platform called Shots, of which he is an investor. Amber Rose Shots fired at the No. 2 spot this week and it’s all in the form of Amber Rose and she didn’t care who got hit in the process. The week started with Rose catching heat for her honest comments on Power 105 “The Breakfast Club” about Tyga relationship with Kylie Jenner from Kylie’s sister Khole Kardashian via twitter. Khole and Amber twitter battle was the highlight of social media last week, with fans saying that Rose won the battle hands down. Later that week, Rose ex-boyfriend Kanye West would have something to say in regards to her comments about his now wife Kim Kardashian. Rose would use those Kanye comments as more ammo for her twitter spat with the Kardashians even including Kim’s ex Ray J. Whether the Kardshians didn’t want to say much about Rose or Kanye only had a few words towards her, Amber Rose did manage to win over the public opinion. drakepromoimage1 1. Drake Topping the countdown this is the man from the 6 who has managed to shock the world of music and make it his own personal playground. Following to the recent Spotify record, Drake has earned yet another accolade with his latest album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. According to Champagne Papi’s Instagram, Aubrey has become the first rapper in history to top Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, moving up from the 2 spot to the 1 spot in just a week.
