But which celebs had the best week of them all? Today, Kaboom! Magazine.com lets you know who star shined the brightest this past week in “Top 10 People of the Week.” Each week, Kaboom! picks 10 celebs, athletes, entertainers, or regular people who we feel had the best week of them all. This week, our countdown is filled with some of record-setting performers, a few first-timers, and a new No. 1 star at the box office. Kylie-Jenner-2015 10. Kylie Jenner Starting off the countdown this week is a teenager who may be thinking about making our countdown one of her new permanent homes.Last week, Kylie Jenner purchased a $2.7 million mansion in The Oaks neighborhood of Calabasas. The 4,900-square-feet mansion features five bedrooms, a home theater, massive kitchen (with the celeb mansion-requisite marbled center island), pool and outdoor grilling station. Kylie’s house is located a block away from her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian’s houses. Seth Rollins/Jon Stewart It’s not every day that the WWE and political entertainment clash, but this week proved that when it does….it’s makes for good TV. Coming in at No. 9 this week is WWE star Seth Rollins and “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart. A couple of weeks ago, Rollins made strong comments about Stewart exit of from “The Daily Show” and Stewart didn’t take that laying down as came back with his own warning shots. In classic WWE fashion, Rollins would take matters into his own hands and crashed “The Daily Show” and confronted Stewart offering a giant-sized challenge. Looking slightly terrified, Stewart tried to make an excuse by claiming that he might have pulled his back muscles when he turned to see Rollins, but eventually accepted the challenge. Drake has reached another milestone in his six-year career. The Canadian rapper now has 14 songs charting simultaneously on Billboard Hot 100, tying a record set 51 years ago by the legendary group The Beatles. Those 14 tracks include the songs that have him as a featuring artist, such as Nicki Minaj’s “Only” (No. 16) and “Truffle Butter” (No. 17), I LOVE MAKONNEN’s “Tuesday” (No. 49) and Big Sean’s “Blessings” (No. 68). Drake has been breaking records since he released his surprise mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” a few weeks ago. The set directly landed at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with more than 500,000 units sold in only four days. Drizzy went on to become the first rapper to sit at No. 1 on Billboard Hot Artist chart. Additionally, he has 21 simultaneous titles on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, 17 of which are from the new project. Raquel Pennington, Holly Holm 7. Holly Holm Introducing herself at the lucky No. 7 spot on our countdown is a Female MMA fighter who is ready to see her name in the bright lights. Hollly Holm made her much anticipated debut in the UFC after a split-decision victory over Raquel Pennington on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The former boxing world champion and the TUF veteran both fought expertly and produced what was UFC 184’s most exciting fight to that point. After her heavily-promoted UFC debut and impressive win, it’s only a matter of time before we start talking about Holm in the same breath as Ronda Rousey. Bu2bzCLIMAAKzIO 6. Savannah Kreisman Coming in a No. 6 this week is one of the hottest and most explosive women on the planet…and for very good reason. California model Savannah Kreisman beat out 99 other explosive bombshells to land the No. 1 spot of Kaboom! Magazine Bombshell Hot 100 issue for 2015. Dakota Johnson Entering the top 5 this week is a woman that can give you 50 reasons on why she deserve a spot in the top 5. Dakota Johnson hosted “Saturday Night Live” when the sketch show returned February 28 after celebrating the 40th anniversary two weeks ago. She discussed life after “Fifty Shades of Grey”, saying her dry cleaner wouldn’t look her in the eye anymore and her dog walker winked at her whenever taking the leash off the wall. Taylor Swift Taylor Swift returns to our countdown for the 2nd week in a row, highlighting the No. 4 spot. She recently made a donation to New York Public Schools. The country/pop singer who has been named a Global Welcome Ambassador for NYC has given $50,000 from the sales of her single “Welcome to New York” in order to support public education in the Big Apple. Taylor Swift also announced that she will become a godmother to her best friend Jaime King’s second child. short-power-rangers-movie-removed-from-youtube 3. Joseph Kahn Morphing into the No. 3 spot this week is a man who brought a dose of reality to every person favorite Saturday morning cartoon. Director Joseph Kahn literally broke the internet when he debuted his new fan made short film of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series entitled “Power/Rangers.” The video immediately spread like wildfire instantly becoming youtube gold. Even with the video success, the short film did stir up quite a bit of controversy. Days after being released on youtube the video was removed due to potential lawsuits. One thing is for sure, fans from all over the world raved about the short film and would like to see more; so don’t be surprised if a second installment of the emerging short film franchise. focus-will-smith-trailer 2. Will Smith It’s a “Big Willie” week at the No. 2 spot on our countdown. “Focus” is the new champion at North American box office. The romantic heist movie starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie collected an estimated $19.1 million on its debut weekend. Despite a modest opening, it’s considerably a more successful premiere than Smith’s “After Earth” (2013) which debuted with $27.5 million against its $130 million budget since “Focus” was made on a smaller budget ($50 million). 140218195501-rousey-story-top-single-image-cut 1. Ronda Rousey Not only is she the most dominant female athlete in sports right now, but she also No. 1 this week on our countdown. If they keep looking like this, the UFC might want to consider booking Ronda Rousey two title defenses per night instead of one. Rousey (11-0) recorded the fastest finish of her career on Saturday, submitting Cat Zingano via straight armlock just 14 seconds into their bantamweight title fight. The bout headlined UFC 184 inside Staples Center. It marks Rousey’s fifth UFC title defense, four of which have ended in the first round.
