Sally Leung’s 5 Fitness Tips:

There is No Magic Pill:
Everyone seems to search for fitness shortcuts to get in great shape with minimal effort, but they don’t exist. The only way to get in shape, look and feel great is to consistently eat well and exercise.

Do It for Yourself:
You are the only one that will live with your body forever, so don’t set goals based on what other people like or what you think other people will like. Whether you want to look or feel a certain way physically, think about what you want. Don’t be motivated by Instagram or Facebook likes.

Eva Simon-015

It’s Not All or Nothing:
Strive for progress, not perfection. It takes time to change your body, and learning more about yourself is even more valuable than the results you’ll eventually get.

Paul Buceta_4308

Don’t Compare Yourself to Others:
We all have different body types, genes, fitness level, and motivation. Don’t compare your results to someone you see at the gym or on social media. Aim only to be better than the day before.

Fitness is an ongoing journey
Taking care of your body is like taking care of a car. It requires usage, tune-up, and rest. We understand that the better we treat our cars, the longer they are likely to last. But somehow many of us have the idea that our bodies can run on their own without any extra TLC. It’s not enough to set a short term goal to treat your body really well for a couple months, than assume that it will stay the same forever. It’s the same as tuning up and cleaning a car, then assuming that it will stay in the same condition forever.
