RAIDERS DEREK CARR THROWS PERFECT BEHIND-THE-BACK PASS DURING PRACTICE

While one Bay Area quarterback deals with more attention than any likely backup has ever gotten, over the San Francisco Bay Bridge the Oakland Raiders’ starting quarterback is having himself a time.

After an impressive sophomore campaign that saw him complete 61.1 percent of his passes for 3,987 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions, the Derek Carr seems primed to lead the Raiders to their first winning season since 2002.

But first, trick shots. Those are a little harder to come by in football than they are in, say, basketball, soccer, golf, or even trampolining, but the 25-year-old managed just fine, hurling a perfect spiral behind his back on the money to a streaking teammate, who added to the degree of difficulty by making a one-handed grab.
