50 CENT TO PRODUCE TWO ORIGINAL PROGRAMS FOR SONY’S CRACKLE

Already with a mega-successful series in Starz’ POWER(which has been renewed Power for a fourth and fifth season), 50 Cent will take some of his talents over to Sony’s Crackle.

Crackle, an online network and the original home to programs such as “Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” (now on Netflix) and “SuperMansion” (on [adult swim]), has greenlit a pair of crime-based drama series from the mind of Curtis and his his G-Unit Film & Television production company: “The Oath” and “RPM.”

“The Oath” is a scripted original drama that focuses on “the subculture of gangs, whose members are sworn to protect and defend their own.” It is written and created by former L.A. County Sheriff’s deputy Joe Halpin.

Meanwhile “RPM” is another scripted drama series, written by Leo Sardarian. The Boston-set show follows a used-car salesman who has a double life as as a getaway driver for a crime syndicate.
