50 Cent Set to Host New Late-Night Variety Show

50 Cent Set to Host New Late-Night Variety Show
In a surprising move, the rapper-actor-mogul 50 Cent is coming to late night with his very own variety show on BET. This week, the network announced that it has purchased 24 episodes of the 30-minute late night variety show “50 Central,” a series that will be hosted by the G-Unit General. Fans can expect sketches, hidden camera pranks, musical performances, and celebrity guests on the show, which will be produced by G-Unit Film & Television, in collaboration with Back Roads Entertainment. Fif is set to executive produce the show, along with Stephen J. Savva, Colby Gaines, and Riley Robbins. BET is also bringing more biopics, following their “New Edition Story” success. The network has projects about Bobby Brown and Suge Knight in the works. Another big network announcement has to do with “The Breaks” and “Hit the Floor,” two shows that are transitioning from VH1 to BET.
