GoPro Introduces 5.2K 360-Degree Fusion & HERO6 Black Cameras

Following the debut of its first spherical camera capable of shooting virtual reality footage, GoPro is back with two new impressive creations.

First up, GoPro introduces the HERO6 Black. Originally planned back in February of this year, the HERO6 Black is outfitted with 4K 60fps video and a new GP1 chip. Consumers will be able to record in H.265/HEVC format, and still photos can be taken at 12-megapixels and 30 frames per second.

For its next offering, GoPro serves up a new 360-degree camera known as the Fusion. Coming in 5.2K resolution at 30fps, the GoPro Fusion allows its user to perfectly shoot both 360-degree videos and virtual reality pieces. Most notably, the camera’s OverCapture feature lets people become sophisticated editors on-the-go, allowing them to select a spot, follow it, pick out the ideal angles then export as a standard 1080p visual.
