Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov Faceoff at The UFC 229 Press Conference

Building up anticipation for Conor McGregor‘s return to the Octagon, the UFC recently held a press conference for its upcoming soldout UFC 229 event taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Pulling no punches, The Notorious stepped to his opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov, which forced Dana White to get between the two, offering the first tense moment of the event. With their championship belts placed in front of them, the fighters took turns answering questions launched by the media in attendance. Throughout the conference, McGregor’s bus attack incident was touched on heavily and was revealed to be the reason why the conference was only opened to the media. McGregor seemed unfazed by the incident going on to viciously trash talk a noticeably bothered Khabib while strategically plugging his upcoming whiskey line, Proper Twelve. Rounding up the press conference, McGregor and Khabib faced off for the first time shortly before McGregor got into a spat with Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.
